Hi guys, how are you all and for my Muslim readers how has Ramadan been?

Perhaps you might not be aware that we are currently in the month of Ramadan. A month where all Muslims around the world strictly fast from dawn to sunset. This is the month we strive to be better in the path of Allah. So far, I have been really enjoying mine because I needed it.

Recently, life has been fast paced for me. Ranging from the struggles of having to keep up with blog, social media, work and school. Really, I commend people who don’t lose themselves trying to keep up with different aspects of life. Especially bloggers, who have to remain relevant by consistently updating their social media platforms.

This month of fasting has really helped me a lot in terms of disconnecting and unplugging myself from engaging in too many activities at once. Do not get me wrong, I love social media, creating contents and staying engaged but sometimes social media can give you problems like anxiety, depression and projecting a fake life through envy or comparison.

I was slightly on my way to that path but this cleansing of the mind, body, and soul has lightened my heart (spirit). I took a deep breath away from social media or anything that has been causing me problems.

The Holy Month will soon come to an end and usually, this festival called Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It has been quite a rocky month for my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters especially in the United Kingdom which I reside presently but the great feeling of unity, love, and togetherness still persist (praise be to God).

The outfit was inspired by the light, calm and simple feeling I have been experiencing throughout this Holy Month. It is my first look of the Holy Month celebration. I absolutely enjoyed the way this outfit reflects simplicity but yet glamorous and chic in a way. The olive and green color signifies new life, a new beginning and new breath of fresh air.
